The disbelievers did not get any comfort, whereas the believers men and women - got spouses equal to them in all aspects. The disbelievers did not get any drink to quench their thirst but the believers will not only have delicious drinks, but the cups will be filled to the brim with them. This also implies that everything will be given at its pinnacle in paradise. The cups could not be more filled. Everything in paradise will be perfect and could not be better just as the cups could not be more filled. Everything will be as cups filled to the brim, utmost perfection, utmost bliss and the absolute peak of all things.
Cups of vine filled to the brim
In ayah 24, Allah said about the disbelievers:
لَّا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا بَرْدًۭا وَلَا شَرَابًا
