This verse raises many eyebrows but it denotes sexual attraction. Being full breasted implies sexual maturity and the fact that these will be women to whom their spouses are sexually attracted as that is a trait mostly desired by men. Spousal relationships are part of the many blessings in paradise and just as they are a source of comfort in this life, so will they be an even bigger source in the hereafter.
Atrāb is normally taken to mean that these women are equal in age to their husbands
but this is just one aspect. The root of this word means equality.16 As Ibn ʿĀshūr says, this implies equality in everything including their beauty, their attraction and love towards each other, and the desire they will feel towards each other as well.
