Surah An-Nur (النور) Ayah 8 - Tafsir

وَيَدْرَؤُا۟ عَنْهَا ٱلْعَذَابَ أَن تَشْهَدَ أَرْبَعَ شَهَٰدَٰتٍۭ بِٱللَّهِ ۙ إِنَّهُۥ لَمِنَ ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ

"But it will prevent punishment from her if she gives four testimonies [swearing] by Allah that indeed, he is of the liars."
