Surah Al-Hajj (الحج) Ayah 12 - Tafsir

يَدْعُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَضُرُّهُۥ وَمَا لَا يَنفَعُهُۥ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلضَّلَٰلُ ٱلْبَعِيدُ

"He invokes instead of Allah that which neither harms him nor benefits him. That is what is the extreme error."
