Al-Mutaffifin 83:25 - Linguistic Miracle
يُسْقَوْنَ مِن رَّحِيقٍۢ مَّخْتُومٍ
“They will be given to drink [pure] wine [which was] sealed.”
Linguistic Miracle
يُسْقَوْنَ مِن رَّحِيقٍۢ مَّخْتُومٍ
“They will be given to drink [pure] wine [which was] sealed.”
They are given to drink from Raḥīq Makhtūm
Raḥīq means the purest, finest and most refined essence of wine that is not adulterated in the least with anything else. Makhtūm means sealed. They are made to drink from the purest and finest wine that was never tasted before. “Sealed” here means that it was withheld before from everyone, in the worldly life as well as in the hereafter, and now they are the first ones ever to taste it.
