Kirām means that these angels are free of any defect and flaw in their domain. We will cover the root meaning two surahs later, in surah al- Infiṭār when the same root will be used for Allah. When applied to Allah, it means perfection in all domains and spheres. When applied to anyone else such as these angels, it means perfection and being free of flaws in a specific domain only. When it comes to passing down revelation to the prophets on earth, these angels are perfect and flawless in this regard. They convey it as it is meant to be, in the manner it is meant to be. Bararah refers to constant and stable righteousness and we will cover it in detail in surah alInfiṭār as well. These angels are sinless and comply fully to the command of Allah. They do not corrupt revelation, nor alter it in any shape or form. They are perfectly obedient to Allah. The purpose of this verse as well as this passage is to show that revelation, its source, and its messengers are pure and without fault. Hence, the fault lies only in the one who rejects it, not in revelation itself.
