There are two options regarding the word معاش - translated as life/ time of life. It is a verbal noun and hence معاش would mean life itself.
It can also be a ظرف - which denotes the time or the place an action is carried out
on and hence, in this view, it would mean time of life. I have put both options in the translation as both are equally plausible and it will all come together later when I tie everything together.
And made the day, life/ a time of life?
